What are my secrets to standing out?

This is something that I get asked a lot and whether that is a good thing or a bad thing I will let you decide.

The key thing to think about is just not giving a fuck.

The more you think about other people's perception of you, the more you will held back from performing to the full potential whatever it is that you excel at.

Just think about this...

In a corporation people will dedicate so much of their time and energy to internal politics, like knowing who to talk to and who not to talk to in certain mannerisms, who said what, who thinks what of who and whether someone is looking better in a certain situation for a certain reason.

This all boils down to wasted time, over complicating situations and raising emotions that should be saved for valid circumstances where they are actually required.

  1.  Look at the points you are actually being constructive and productive, let people know what you have done and why you have done something, and what the productive outcomes from your actions are.
  2. If you dedicate your time and energy to tasks that actually matter, and have the ability to relay what you have made happen and show the benefits to the circumstance, you will outshine not hundreds but thousand of people around you.
  3. Another strength that I pride myself on is being genuine. How many times have you been in a conversation with someone that is talking shit? They know it, you know it, so really you're both muppets for standing there talking because it is pointless! People will talk for the sake of talking. If you have something of actual value to say then this will speak wonders for you.
  4. Ooze confidence people! Not arrogance. If you can infect people with your confidence they will be so enthralled that they will want to subconsciously know what it is that you have that they don’t. Play off this and get your foot in the door through your personality
